The glass catches the light and returns it as a tinted glow, warm and enveloping, which colours the mood of the room. The small diameters call for a run: three Ø13cm (5") cylinders lined up above a long worktop pace out its length, while the Ø30cm (12") drum dresses a round table on its own. The pendant happily drops fairly low, the source staying out of the field of view once you are seated. The shapes can be combined, bottle and cylinder alternating, provided you keep a common tone. Above a dining table, aim for 75–90cm (29.5"–35.5") between the tabletop and the bottom of the shade. This coloured light remains an ambient light; it leans on a more neutral general scheme for precise uses.
