The translucent stone veils the source and spreads an even light, with no point of glare. The veins of the alabaster show themselves once the light is switched on and make every piece its own. At 10cm in diameter and 30cm high (4" × 12"), it takes up little wall and suits narrow passages. The E27 (ES) cap takes the bulb of your choice, dimmer compatible. It lights a hallway, a landing or a headboard.

Its narrow build suits Cylindra to short walls as much as to large elevations, where it can be repeated without loading them. It is fixed at eye level, with the cylinder centred on the area to be lit: mirror, console table or bedside. On its own, it marks a hallway; in a pair, it frames a bed or a mirror; in a run, it paces a landing at regular intervals. Its diffused light completes a more direct ceiling light and lower lamps, layering the sources from the living room through to the evening. Alabaster works with matt plaster, oak and sand tones; the black mount underlines a pale wall, while the gold version carries on the brass already in the room.
