keyboard_arrow_downA slim black vertical bar, sitting flat against the wall. The light comes out of a central slot that runs the full height: a continuous white line, sharp, cutting across the dark surface of the metal. This metal LED outdoor wall light reduces the fitting to its barest form, a vertical line of light on a facade.
The body is matt black lacquered metal. The central diffuser is acrylic: it is what evens out the LED light and produces that continuous line with no hot spot and no break. The LED is built into the body, hidden behind the acrylic. At night you do not see the source, only the line of light. By day, the black bar reads as an architectural element, a vertical stroke on the wall.
On an outdoor facade, mounted on either side of a front door, two symmetrical bars frame the opening and mark the way in without spilling visually across the walls. Along a garden wall, a single bar is enough to light a circulation route. In a tall indoor hallway, the 180 or 200cm version covers the height and gives the corridor a vertical structure. The throw of light is directional and concentrated: it lights what is in front of it, not everything around it.
The size governs both the total light output and the visual impact on the facade. The 30cm (12") model suits small spaces: a recess, a narrow door surround, a low hallway. The 60 and 80cm (31.5") sizes cover the standard arrangements of a house entrance or a gate. From 100cm upwards, the bar asserts itself in larger architectural volumes: broad facades, tall boundary walls, generous corridors. The 150, 180 and 200cm formats are architectural lighting choices, where the bar becomes as much a part of the composition of the facade as a source of light.
The colour temperature is chosen at the time of ordering, from four options. Cool white gives a crisp, almost clinical result that suits contemporary facades in concrete or grey render. Warm white brings outdoor lighting closer to the warmth of indoors. It softens facade materials and suits beige stone, sand-coloured render and brick. Neutral white occupies the middle ground, neither cool nor warm, suited to circulation spaces where legibility matters more than mood. The dimmable version adds control over the intensity, useful for adjusting the lighting to the hour or the occasion, from full output in the evening to a discreet night-time setting.
The IP65 rating guarantees full protection against dust and against water jets. It is the standard certification for an exposed outdoor installation: direct rain, mist, cleaning spray. It covers exposed facades, gardens and unsheltered paths.
To look at other wall lights suited to outdoor spaces or hallways, the wall lights collection brings together metal and acrylic models so you can compare sizes and finishes against the layout of your facade.
A spotlight or a round wall light throws a cone or a half-sphere: the light spreads in every direction. A vertical LED bar works differently. The light comes out along the whole height of the bar, in a vertical sheet. It grazes the wall across its immediate width and projects forwards. On a facade in stone or textured render, this grazing light brings out the relief and the irregularities of the surface, an effect that neither a spotlight nor a floodlight can reproduce at this scale.
Light output reaches up to 3786lm (lumens, the quantity of light emitted) on the largest sizes. That is a significant output for a wall light, enough to light a path, a property entrance or a boundary wall without any additional fitting. On the shorter sizes, the output is reduced in proportion. This LED outdoor bar wall light provides functional lighting that also keeps circulation areas safe.
Indoors, the same bar in a tall hallway produces an architectural effect identical to the one it gives on a facade. The IP65 rating is no obstacle to indoor use: it simply guarantees that the fitting can go where others cannot. A metal LED wall light that works as well on an exposed facade as in a damp tiled corridor remains a rare thing in this price bracket.

The house of Lumiris
Lumiris was born from a simple conviction: a light is not an accessory, it is a presence. It changes the way a room is read, softens an evening, turns an ordinary space into a refuge. We founded this house for those who refuse to choose between beauty and longevity.
Every piece in our catalogue is chosen for its material — alabaster, travertine, marble, solid wood — for the character that is its own, and for its ability to carry the years without ageing. At Lumiris, nothing is mass-produced. Everything is made to last.

Which light should you choose for a dining room?
keyboard_arrow_downA dining room calls for lighting that is decorative and comfortable in equal measure. The pendant light remains the most common choice, because it draws the eye to the table and creates a warm atmosphere during meals. Over a rectangular table, a linear model or several pendants hung in a row spread the light more evenly. Over a round table, a single central pendant in glass, travertine, alabaster or metal works beautifully. The hanging height should light the table without dazzling your guests, with a warmer light to keep the mood convivial.
How do you choose the right light for a living room?
keyboard_arrow_downThe right choice depends on the size of the room, the ceiling height and the mood you are after. In a generous living room, a central pendant or a cluster of pendants gives the space structure and provides a pleasant general light. A wall light completes the scheme, creating a softer atmosphere beside a sofa, a bookcase or a reading corner. Plug-in wall lights suit relaxing corners particularly well, because they add targeted light without any change to your electrical installation. At Lumiris, models in alabaster, glass, wood, travertine or metal let you match the lighting to the style of your interior.
What does the colour temperature of a light mean?
keyboard_arrow_downColour temperature describes the tint of the light given off by the bulb or the LED. A warm light, around 2700K to 3000K, creates a soft, welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a living room, a bedroom or a dining room. A neutral light, around 4000K, suits kitchens, home offices or hallways. A cool light gives a whiter, more functional result. This choice shapes the mood of a room directly, even when the design of the light itself stays exactly the same.
How do you know whether a light will light a room well enough?
keyboard_arrow_downLight output is measured in lumens, not in watts alone. The higher the lumen figure, the more strongly the light shines. In a living space, plan for enough general light first, then layer in secondary lighting such as a wall light or a second pendant. A large room may need several light sources to avoid dark corners. Decorative lights in alabaster, glass, paper or fabric sometimes cast a softer light, which makes them perfect for atmosphere but less suited to being the only source of light in a room.
What is the difference between an integrated LED and a replaceable bulb?
keyboard_arrow_downAn integrated LED is built straight into the light fitting and often allows a slimmer, more modern or more sculptural design. It offers good light efficiency and low energy consumption. A replaceable bulb gives you more freedom to choose the brightness, the colour temperature and the type of bulb to suit your own preferences. Before buying, it is worth checking the product page for the type of light source, the compatible wattage and any options available. This detail affects both upkeep and long-term use.
What are the delivery times for your lighting?
keyboard_arrow_downOrders are generally processed within 1 to 2 working days once payment is confirmed. Once dispatched, delivery usually takes 6 to 8 working days depending on the destination and the route your parcel takes. The total time is therefore typically 7 to 10 working days.
