keyboard_arrow_downThis pendant light caps an LED source with a smoked glass dome, carried on a rigid matt black stem. The tinted glass absorbs part of the glare and lets a softened light through, directed downwards. The frame comes in black or gold, in two dome formats with distinct proportions. The LED is built into the fitting — 12W on the 26cm dome, 16W on the 38cm one: no bulb to screw in, none to buy, and three colour temperatures available from installation. Its restrained vocabulary suits contemporary interiors as readily as schemes with an industrial leaning. Above a table or in a corner of a living room, it sets a hushed atmosphere as soon as the day ends.
The integrated LED delivers three colour temperatures, changed after installation without replacing the fitting. Warm white (3000K), a yellow light that relaxes, for a living room or a bedroom; neutral white (4000K), balanced, for a dual-purpose room; cool white (6000K), crisp and legible, for a kitchen or a home office.
In practice, the same room moves from task lighting during the day to ambient light in the evening.
You make the change from your existing wall switch: switch the pendant off and back on to move to the next temperature. No remote, no app, no accessory to buy.
One useful point: this depends on a conventional on/off switch. The pendant is not dimmable — on a dimmer or a smart switch, the colour-changing cycle does not run properly.
The pendant connects directly to the ceiling mains supply, on a mounting plate fixed into a joist or a structural support — there is no socket and no plug. An LED driver is supplied and sits inside the ceiling rose. We recommend having it fitted by a qualified electrician.

The small 26cm (10") dome suits an intimate table or a particular corner; the 38cm (15") bowl covers a wider surface and speaks to generous rooms. The pendant is positioned so as to keep the source out of the line of sight, with the edge of the glass just above eye level when seated. On its own, it creates an island of light; in a run of two or three on the same switch, it paces a long table or a counter — the pendants then change temperature together and stay matched. Smoked glass reduces the share of diffuse light: this is ambient lighting, to be completed by a floor lamp or a wall light for the general lighting of the room. Black underlines a scheme of graphite and dark wood, gold introduces a warm accent in a mineral setting.

The house of Lumiris
Lumiris was born from a simple conviction: a light is not an accessory, it is a presence. It changes the way a room is read, softens an evening, turns an ordinary space into a refuge. We founded this house for those who refuse to choose between beauty and longevity.
Every piece in our catalogue is chosen for its material — alabaster, travertine, marble, solid wood — for the character that is its own, and for its ability to carry the years without ageing. At Lumiris, nothing is mass-produced. Everything is made to last.

Which light should you choose for a dining room?
keyboard_arrow_downA dining room calls for lighting that is decorative and comfortable in equal measure. The pendant light remains the most common choice, because it draws the eye to the table and creates a warm atmosphere during meals. Over a rectangular table, a linear model or several pendants hung in a row spread the light more evenly. Over a round table, a single central pendant in glass, travertine, alabaster or metal works beautifully. The hanging height should light the table without dazzling your guests, with a warmer light to keep the mood convivial.
How do you choose the right light for a living room?
keyboard_arrow_downThe right choice depends on the size of the room, the ceiling height and the mood you are after. In a generous living room, a central pendant or a cluster of pendants gives the space structure and provides a pleasant general light. A wall light completes the scheme, creating a softer atmosphere beside a sofa, a bookcase or a reading corner. Plug-in wall lights suit relaxing corners particularly well, because they add targeted light without any change to your electrical installation. At Lumiris, models in alabaster, glass, wood, travertine or metal let you match the lighting to the style of your interior.
What does the colour temperature of a light mean?
keyboard_arrow_downColour temperature describes the tint of the light given off by the bulb or the LED. A warm light, around 2700K to 3000K, creates a soft, welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a living room, a bedroom or a dining room. A neutral light, around 4000K, suits kitchens, home offices or hallways. A cool light gives a whiter, more functional result. This choice shapes the mood of a room directly, even when the design of the light itself stays exactly the same.
How do you know whether a light will light a room well enough?
keyboard_arrow_downLight output is measured in lumens, not in watts alone. The higher the lumen figure, the more strongly the light shines. In a living space, plan for enough general light first, then layer in secondary lighting such as a wall light or a second pendant. A large room may need several light sources to avoid dark corners. Decorative lights in alabaster, glass, paper or fabric sometimes cast a softer light, which makes them perfect for atmosphere but less suited to being the only source of light in a room.
What is the difference between an integrated LED and a replaceable bulb?
keyboard_arrow_downAn integrated LED is built straight into the light fitting and often allows a slimmer, more modern or more sculptural design. It offers good light efficiency and low energy consumption. A replaceable bulb gives you more freedom to choose the brightness, the colour temperature and the type of bulb to suit your own preferences. Before buying, it is worth checking the product page for the type of light source, the compatible wattage and any options available. This detail affects both upkeep and long-term use.
What are the delivery times for your lighting?
keyboard_arrow_downOrders are generally processed within 1 to 2 working days once payment is confirmed. Once dispatched, delivery usually takes 6 to 8 working days depending on the destination and the route your parcel takes. The total time is therefore typically 7 to 10 working days.
