keyboard_arrow_downA wooden arm comes out of the wall at an oblique angle, and at the end, a travertine cylinder. No visible metal, no chrome, no visible cable, just two natural materials, one that carries and one that diffuses. This travertine and wood wall light reduces the fitting to its most direct construction: a beam, a stone, some light.
The travertine of the cylinder is a yellowish beige, veined, with the irregularities particular to sedimentary rock. No two pieces show exactly the same network of veins: the surface changes from one fitting to the next depending on where the slab was cut. The integrated 3000K LED lights through the stone from inside the cylinder. The travertine, semi-translucent in places, filters the output and produces an amber, warm light that comes out downwards in a soft cone and diffuses sideways through the thinnest areas of the rock.
In a bedroom, set at the head of the bed, it lights without dazzling: the cylinder contains the light source, and the light comes out in a downward cone with no direct projection into your line of sight. In a living room, above a console table or a reading corner, the angled arm comes out of the wall with a lightness that straight-arm wall lights do not have. Either way, the warmth of the wood and the texture of the stone change the register of the wall that carries them.
The Walnut and beige finish pairs a dark wood arm with the veining of pale beige travertine. The contrast between the two materials is marked: the walnut runs to a deep brown, almost chocolate, while the travertine stays in the pale tones. In an interior with darker tones or dark wood furniture, this version carries the palette through without a break. The Natural wood and beige version reduces that contrast: arm and shade stay in a similar register, beige and natural, which fits into neutral interiors without demanding attention.
The dimensions are contained: H 23cm × W 13cm × Projection 10cm (9" × 5" × 4"). The fitting does not jut out from the wall, it sits quietly on it. That compact format suits tight spaces where a bulkier wall light would visually overflow. At the head of a bed, two matching fittings of this size go in without eating into the space available either side of the bed. Installation is by direct wiring: there is no plug and no visible flex.
The LED is integrated and supplied. The fixed 3000K colour temperature produces a warm light, close to that of a filament bulb, which sits well with the natural tone of the travertine. That choice cannot be changed after installation: it is a constraint to think through if the space calls for a more neutral or a cooler light.
To explore other wall lights in natural materials suited to the bedroom or the living room, our wall lights collection brings together travertine, alabaster, metal and wood models so you can compare shapes and light output for the space you have in mind.
Travertine is not a uniform material. Its sedimentary structure creates areas of varying density: some more compact, others more porous, almost translucent. When the LED lights from inside the cylinder, those areas behave differently. The dense parts block the light, the thin parts let it filter through. The result is a textured light that carries the map of the rock itself, a long way from the even diffusion of frosted glass.
This wood and travertine wall light works in interiors that embrace raw materials: stone, solid wood, linen, wool. It does not fit the same way in a very lacquered or very colourful setting, where the mineral quality of the rock and the warmth of the wood risk feeling out of place. In a space with natural tones, it settles in as though it had always been there.
The angled arm also changes how the fitting relates to the wall. A horizontal or vertical arm places the light source in line with the fixing. An oblique arm creates a visual tension between the anchor point and the cylinder hanging at the end: the stone looks carried, in balance. This travertine and wood wall light exists in the room unlit as much as lit.

The house of Lumiris
Lumiris was born from a simple conviction: a light is not an accessory, it is a presence. It changes the way a room is read, softens an evening, turns an ordinary space into a refuge. We founded this house for those who refuse to choose between beauty and longevity.
Every piece in our catalogue is chosen for its material — alabaster, travertine, marble, solid wood — for the character that is its own, and for its ability to carry the years without ageing. At Lumiris, nothing is mass-produced. Everything is made to last.

Which light should you choose for a dining room?
keyboard_arrow_downA dining room calls for lighting that is decorative and comfortable in equal measure. The pendant light remains the most common choice, because it draws the eye to the table and creates a warm atmosphere during meals. Over a rectangular table, a linear model or several pendants hung in a row spread the light more evenly. Over a round table, a single central pendant in glass, travertine, alabaster or metal works beautifully. The hanging height should light the table without dazzling your guests, with a warmer light to keep the mood convivial.
How do you choose the right light for a living room?
keyboard_arrow_downThe right choice depends on the size of the room, the ceiling height and the mood you are after. In a generous living room, a central pendant or a cluster of pendants gives the space structure and provides a pleasant general light. A wall light completes the scheme, creating a softer atmosphere beside a sofa, a bookcase or a reading corner. Plug-in wall lights suit relaxing corners particularly well, because they add targeted light without any change to your electrical installation. At Lumiris, models in alabaster, glass, wood, travertine or metal let you match the lighting to the style of your interior.
What does the colour temperature of a light mean?
keyboard_arrow_downColour temperature describes the tint of the light given off by the bulb or the LED. A warm light, around 2700K to 3000K, creates a soft, welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a living room, a bedroom or a dining room. A neutral light, around 4000K, suits kitchens, home offices or hallways. A cool light gives a whiter, more functional result. This choice shapes the mood of a room directly, even when the design of the light itself stays exactly the same.
How do you know whether a light will light a room well enough?
keyboard_arrow_downLight output is measured in lumens, not in watts alone. The higher the lumen figure, the more strongly the light shines. In a living space, plan for enough general light first, then layer in secondary lighting such as a wall light or a second pendant. A large room may need several light sources to avoid dark corners. Decorative lights in alabaster, glass, paper or fabric sometimes cast a softer light, which makes them perfect for atmosphere but less suited to being the only source of light in a room.
What is the difference between an integrated LED and a replaceable bulb?
keyboard_arrow_downAn integrated LED is built straight into the light fitting and often allows a slimmer, more modern or more sculptural design. It offers good light efficiency and low energy consumption. A replaceable bulb gives you more freedom to choose the brightness, the colour temperature and the type of bulb to suit your own preferences. Before buying, it is worth checking the product page for the type of light source, the compatible wattage and any options available. This detail affects both upkeep and long-term use.
What are the delivery times for your lighting?
keyboard_arrow_downOrders are generally processed within 1 to 2 working days once payment is confirmed. Once dispatched, delivery usually takes 6 to 8 working days depending on the destination and the route your parcel takes. The total time is therefore typically 7 to 10 working days.
